    Dear All,

    With apologies for cross-posting

We are pleased to offer this caucus at AoM focused on the topic of Entrepreneurial Orientation. This caucus is also an opportunity to discuss the special issue call for papers at ISBJ and participants will be able to discuss ideas with the guest editors of the special issue. For questions about this caucus or the ISBJ special issue, feel free to email Vishal Gupta (vgupta@bus.olemiss.edu).

Session Type: Caucus; Ref Id: 11455; Date: Tuesday, August 8, 2017; Location: Hilton Atlanta Rm 202

Caucus Title: Researching Entrepreneurial Orientation and Corporate Entrepreneurship

Caucus Organizers: Vishal Gupta, William Wales, and Grace Guo

ISBJ Special Issue Guest Editors: Vishal Gupta, William Wales, Lou Marino, Galina Shirokova

The purpose of this Caucus is to bring together a community of scholars interested in the continued legacy of the foundational works of Covin and Slevin (1989) and Lumpkin and Dess (1996). In 2013, these two articles were identified as super-classics in entrepreneurship research for their impact upon the field and number of citations accumulated in the time since they have been published (Wales, Gupta, & Mousa, 2013). According to Gupta et al. (2016), the term 'classics' refers to original articles addressing ideas defining the field and spawning research that plays a critical role in the advancement of knowledge. In the case of Covin and Slevin (1989) and Lumpkin and Dess (1995), their impact has been most felt in research falling under the broad umbrellas of entrepreneurial orientation and corporate entrepreneurship.

We are planning some exciting activities for the caucus- Stay Tuned!
