    Dear Friends

You are invited to the 2nd Entrepreneurship & Innovation Conference hosted by the Glendonbrook Institute for Enterprise Development at Loughborough University London.

The conference theme is entrepreneurship and innovation – contributions tightly or more loosely connected to the theme are invited. These can be PhD findings, works-in-progress, or (almost) final versions of articles ready for submission to journals. I am thrilled to announce that we will have two high profile keynote speakers at the conference:

Day 1 - The academic - Professor Dimo Dimov, Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the School of Management, University of Bath

Dimo Dimov researches the enabling, accelerating, and funding the entrepreneurial journey – from initial idea to viable venture – in independent, corporate, and social settings.

Day 2 - The policy maker/entrepreneur - Lord Bilimoria, Crossbench peer, Chairman and founder of Cobra Beer.

Karan Bilimoria is the founder of Cobra Beer and the Senior Non-Executive Director of the Booker Group PLC.  In 2006, he was appointed the Lord Bilimoria of Chelsea, making him the first ever Zoroastrian Parsi to sit in the House of Lords, and in 2014 he was installed as the seventh Chancellor of the University of Birmingham - the first Indian-born Chancellor of a Russell Group University in Great Britain.

This is a great opportunity to build and strengthen our research community so please consider coming. Networking opportunities like this are vital for personal development and for the development of the fields in general. You can help me by circulating this to staff and PhD students in your own networks who may also be interested.

More detail and the registration form can be found on my website at malou.co.uk/conference.

The deadline for abstracts is 12th May.

Best wishes and look forward to seeing you in London.
