    Hello all, just a quick note on the listserv to inform you of an excellent entrepreneurship PDW at Philly to be held on Sunday August 5th at 8-10am at the Marriott Room 401/402.   
     
    The session is titled "New Insights into Theories of Entrepreneurship" will feature David Hsu, Anne Miner, Martin Ruef, Sean Safford, Jesper Sorensen, and Gerry George.  The discussion leaders are Diane Burton and Saras Sarasvathy. 
     
    The PDW sessions are framed as a panel and then break-out sessions to bring out current topics and challenges in entrepreneurship research.  The topics include regional clusters, learning from success and failure experiences, team formation, capability dynamics, founder issues and venture capital among others. By focusing on broader agendas, participants will have the opportunity to participate and discuss areas that hold promise for further scholarly inquiry and introduce areas that are relatively unexplored. Each panelist and discussant will speak for 10 minutes for followed by a 30 minute breakout session and concluding themes.
     
    Participants need not register ahead.  We have an exciting list of emerging topics for discussion that will be of interest to scholars in the entrepreneurship area.
