THE EMERGENCE OF CLEANTECH: ALL ACADEMY SYMPOSIUM
    Monday, Aug 6th 2007
    10:40AM - 12:00PM
at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Room 108A

    See http://research.yale.edu/cbey/

A high profile venture capital investor recently proclaimed that cleantech "is
the greatest opportunity of the 21st century." Clean technologies attack some
of the world's biggest environmental problems with financially driven and often
highly entrepreneurial solutions. They seek to revolutionize industrial
production by substantially reducing energy consumption, waste, and pollution.
Thus, they offer a unique opportunity for business and investors to 'do well by
    doing good'.

Cleantech affords a valuable setting in which to study the phenomenon of
technology field emergence at the nexus of innovation, technology and the
environment. Panelists will bring perspectives from ENT, ONE, TIM and OMT to
cleantech and engage in a lively discussion with two venture capital investors.

We hope you can join us at an 'All Academy Symposium' dedicated to the emergence
    of 'Cleantech'!
