Colorado State University, a land grant, Carnegie Doctoral/Research Extensive University of 23,900 students, invites nominations and applications for entrepreneurship/strategy faculty positions. Preference will be given to individuals who hold the rank of Associate Professor, but advanced Assistant Professors will be given consideration. This position reports directly to the Department Chair in the Department of Management at the College of Business.
Specific responsibilities include conducting research leading to scholarly publication in high quality, nationally recognized journals, teaching courses in strategic management and entrepreneurship, and service to the College, University, profession, and/or community.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must have an earned terminal degree in entrepreneurship, strategic management, or a related field from an IAME/AACSB accredited institution, teaching experience in strategy and entrepreneurship, and a strong record of publication in high quality, nationally recognized journals on topics related to entrepreneurship.
Preferred Qualifications: Complementary expertise in international and/or global sustainable enterprise and industry experience are desired.
Desirable: Evidence of an ability to work in collaboration with colleagues and evidence of on-going entrepreneurship scholarship (e.g. presentation at Babson Research Conference or the Entrepreneurship Division of the AOM, entrepreneurship editorial board membership, mentoring of PhD candidates or junior faculty, etc.) is desired.
The Department of Management is one of five departments in the College of Business, with primary foci of Organizational Behavior/Leadership, Entrepreneurship/Strategy, and Supply Chain Management. We are a growing department of ten tenured/tenure track faculty and expect to add several new faculty members in the near future. It houses the Center for Entrepreneurship, the Center for the Study of Global Business, and the Institute of Transportation Management.
