    2007 Finalists for the INFORMS/OS Dissertation Proposal Competition

     

    I am pleased to announce the finalists for the 2007 INFORMS/Organization Science Dissertation Proposal Competition.  The eight finalists were selected from the eighty-two proposals that were submitted this year.  Competition was fierce, with many innovative and high-quality proposals submitted. The eight individuals below will be presenting their dissertation proposals next month in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Seattle</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">WA</st1:state></st1:place> to a distinguished panel of judges who will select the winner and runner-up for this year's competition. If you know any of the finalists, please offer them your heartiest congratulations for a significant accomplishment. The finalists are:
