    Call for Papers
    Entrepreneurial Family Business: Strategy, Transition, and Management in a Global Economy
     
     
    Specific Location: Kaohsiung (11/14 - 11/16) and Taipei (11/17), Taiwan
    Keynote Speaker: Professor Phillip H. Phan (Johns Hopkins Carey Business School) and Professor Morten Bennedsen (INSEAD)
     
    The International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA), National Sun Yat-Sen University (NSYSU), and Taiwan Institute of Directors (TWIoD) cordially invite you to attend the 2017      IFERA Global Conference in Taiwan, November 14 - 17, 2017. The theme is "Entrepreneurial Family Business: Strategy, Transition, and Management in a Global Economy."
     
    We seek to advance family business scholarship by encouraging (1) theory-driven or problem-driven studies to enhance the theoretical foundation of family business research, (2) dialogue with new family business researchers, (3) academic and practitioner participants to raise bold and interesting questions, (4) research in social, cultural, economic, and institutional uniqueness of Asia-Pacific nations, and (5) studies of family business pedagogies and the development of teaching cases.
     
    Submission Guidelines and Languages
    Paper submissions, in English or Chinese, can take the form of full paper (35 pages max., double space) or extended abstract (1,500 words max.).  Please visit the conference website for detail.

    Publication opportunities for full papers include Journal of Family Business Strategy (SSCI listed Journal), Quarterly Journal of Management (CSSCI listed Journal), Sun Yat-Sen Management Review (TSSCI listed Journal), and Journal of Management (TSSCI listed Journal, Chinese/English).
