    Dear colleagues,

Can you recommend a panel provider (other than Qualtrics) that can help me gather data on entrepreneurs of different races?

Also, how can I make sure that the sample comes from entrepreneurs (those who actually started the business) and not just business owners/managers?

    Thank you!

    Dear Golshan,

You may try Amazon's Mechanical Turk but I have some concerns about the reliability of that data. Normally, you can screen people with several questions (i.e. Have you ever started a business?) but there is no guarantee that the respondents will answer honestly.

    Hi all,

This is an intriguing question, and examining panels in the domain of entrepreneurship is an important topic that needs discussion.

I have used Qualtrics, as well as MTurk, Survey Monkey, and the StudyResponse Project. There are other options as well.

Important issues, among others, include data quality, price, representativeness of entrepreneurs, & response rates.
