    Dear colleagues,

Following recent discussions about textbook and teaching resources, I would like to bring to your attention my newly published book, The Reflective Entrepreneur.

The book aims to occupy the space in between a purely academic resource and a textbook. It is deliberately short, but focused on raising deeper  questions on the nature and inherent tensions of the entrepreneurial experience. It has arisen from diverse material that I have tried to cover at the start of an entrepreneurship class, to put all students on the same page in terms of attitudes and mindset. I will be using it as a required pre-reading, aimed to soften existing preconceptions, generate productive discussion, and set expectations. Below is an outline of the topics covered.

I would welcome any feedback on what works, what does not, and what could be improved.

The book is available in hardback and electronic format (Kindle, ebook). You can use the author discount code REN30 for a 30% discount directly from the publisher

    Outline:
Part I: Tensions of the entrepreneurial journey
    1. Idea vs. opportunity
    2. Genius vs. lunatic
    3. Skill vs. luck
    4. Judgment and the entrepreneurial journey

Part II: The journey from the inside
    5. Future
    6. Milestones and problems
    7. Managing internal pressures
    8. Managing external pressures

Part III: The journey from the outside
    9. Entrepreneurship as sport
    10. Entrepreneurial impact as emergent development

    Best wishes,

    Dimo
