Assistant/Associate Professor in Strategic Management
Dear Colleagues,
The Department of Management in the Erivan K. Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph?s University is currently recruiting for one tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate level in Strategic Management effective August 2008. We are particularly interested in applicants who have additional competencies and interests in
Entrepreneurship, and strongly prefer applicants with
graduate or executive teaching experience.
Saint Joseph?s University is a private, Catholic, and Jesuit institution and expects members of its community to be knowledgeable about its mission and to make positive contributions to that mission. The teaching load is nine hours per semester. The university total enrollment is approximately 7,700 students. The Haub School of Business is AACSB accredited with more than 50 full-time faculty and approximately 40 percent of the student body. The part-time MBA program has been ranked among the Top 25 in the nation by
U.S. News and World Report (2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007). Additionally, Saint Joseph's was named one of Greater Philadelphia's 40 best places to work by the

Qualifications This position requires a Ph.D;
applicants that are ABD and in the data collection phase or later of their doctorate studies may be considered. Excellent teaching skills are essential and the successful applicants will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with opportunities to teach in the Executive Programs. Applicants must show a proven research record or demonstrate evidence of strong potential.
