Job description
The Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Lecturer in Entrepreneurship. At the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), a vivid environment of entrepreneurial activity exists with many entrepreneurship courses across the faculties and for start-ups that find accommodation in the Europe's largest tech-incubator YES!Delft. The growing interest among students, faculty members and founders of entrepreneurial start-ups calls for the development of new courses in technology-based entrepreneurship and provides a rich source of data to conduct empirical research. We seek a candidate who can draw on her/ his research, teaching and/or practical experience in the field of technology-based entrepreneurship to contribute to the development of teaching programmes of the Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship. The prime objective is to teach in various bachelor and master level courses and develop a master level elective programme for engineering students of various faculties across the TU Delft. The candidate will also actively contribute to the Delft Centre of Entrepreneurship research programme on technology-based entrepreneurship.
What we look for
The candidate is a university graduate with a PhD in Entrepreneurship, Marketing or a related discipline (e.g. business administration) who can demonstrate evidence of teaching and research competence in entrepreneurship. Applicants with a secondary interest in marketing in the context of high-tech start-ups, entrepreneurial ventures or in social and sustainability issues are highly encouraged to apply. The candidate is a skilled and engaged teacher who is able to develop new educational programmes, make significant research contributions and serve our growing centre for entrepreneurship as an enthusiastic team player in a local community of entrepreneurial activity.

The Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship (DCE), part of the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management (TPM) at the Delft University of Technology, serves approximately 500 students across the university through several programmes at the bachelor and master levels and contributes to PhD training and various other programmes. The department, currently employing 7 FTE, focuses on technology-based entrepreneurship and embraces various research approaches, methods and teaching techniques. Together with scientists, teachers, entrepreneurs, the tech-incubator YES!Delft, YES!Delft students, Delft Enterprises and the Valorisation Centre, the centre engages engineering students to contribute to the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem of the TU Delft.
