I am representing entrepreneurship in an interdisciplinary panel on
cognition (Tuesday August 7 10:30-11:50 Marriott, Franklin 12). We are to
ask and answer how cognition research in BPS, OB, and ENT serves our
particular domains, how the "sister" disciplines might inform ENT, and how
entrepreneurship cognition might contribute to BPS and OB.
I need your help here. Representing the division (and to do so without
cognitive biases and a whole lot of review) is difficult. Ron Mitchell and
Lowell Busenitz led other editors and authors in formulating the central
research question in the recent ETP issue on cognition. Along with this...
1. What do you think are the most exciting findings in entrepreneurship
cognition?
2. What disappoints you most in the research on entrepreneurship
cognition?
3. What important questions might we be asking?
4. How is this material on cognition informing (or not informing) our
teaching and the practice of entrepreneurship?
5. What other questions should I be asking?
