Inspiring and Developing Enterprising People:
Entrepreneurship and Global Impact Conference
This conference will address the profound impact that entrepreneurship has on globalization, cultural change, technology, and social issues. How is the world around us adapting to economic change? What role are entrepreneurs taking in this new marketplace, and what role do Universities play in providing challenging and innovative entrepreneurship curriculum?
Select faculty members will have the opportunity to present entrepreneurial concepts and research based papers, that center around conference themes. Social entrepreneurship presentations and discussion will address best practices for the creation of not-for-profit enterprises and the far reaching effects of their social impact.
Conference participants will also have the opportunity to examine the transformative potential of technological and commercial entrepreneurship, and its strategic impact on the global marketplace. As businesses adapt to globalization what responsibility do we have as educators to transform the next generation of innovative entrepreneurs? We will examine the creative opportunities presented through interdisciplinary collaboration and the impact this has on student development and entrepreneurship education.
