Can someone please recommend a good, solid but readable book on business writting in English, and a book on judgemental decision making - how to train you judgement, etc. It is to help a student, not for a course.

    Thanks,
    Scott Jackson

    Hello Michael,

I am using the following book for my business communication course, focusing on critical thinking and academic writing:
Glitrow, Janet et al., Academic Writing: An Introduction (multiple editions), Broadview Press

Graff, G., Birkenstein, C., and Durst, R. (2011), They say I say with Readings: The Moves That Matter in Academic Writing, W.W. North & Company

q  Mathukutty M. Monippally and Badrinarayan Shankar Pawar (2010), Academic Writing: A Guide for Management Students and Researchers, Sage

    Hope these help.
