FACULTY POSITION IN MANAGEMENT
The Department of Management in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia seeks qualified applicants for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor in Strategic Management starting August 2017.
The successful applicant will have completed a Ph.D. in Management or any closely related field at the time of appointment or be 1 to 3 years post-PhD. All applicants will have demonstrated potential to publish in top journals, exhibit excellence in the classroom, and have the desire to work in a collegial, interdisciplinary department.
The Department of Management at the University of Georgia is among the most productive in the country, ranking 7th in the Texas A&M Rankings of Management Department Productivity in 2015. The Strategy group includes Scott Graffin (former associate editor for AMJ), Mike Pfarrer (associate editor for AMR), Timothy Quigley, Daniel Gamache, and John Busenbark. The OB group includes Jason Colquitt (former editor-in-chief of AMJ), Robert Vandenberg (former editor-in-chief of ORM), Marie Mitchell (associate editor for PPsych), Jessica Rodell (associate editor for AMJ), Laura Little, and Fadel Matta.
