Presentation
The Department of Strategy, Globalization and Society conducts research on the sources of firms' long-term competitive advantage and sustainable performance. A founding belief of our department is that firms' strategies in a globalized world often have to take into account not only market dimensions (competition, price, differentiation, innovation, M&As, etc.) but also nonmarket dimensions (environmental aspects, regulation, macroeconomic policies, politics, media, ethical considerations, etc.).
Members of the Department include Jean-Philippe Bonardi, Olivier Cadot, Xavier Castañer, Patrick Haack, José Mata, Guido Palazzo, Jeffrey Petty, and Déborah Philippe, and have published in leading international outlets such as the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy of Management Review, the Administrative Science Quarterly, the American Economic Review, Journal of Business Venturing, the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of Management Studies, or the Strategic Management Journal.
