The Department of Entrepreneurship in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University seeks applicants for a non-tenure track Research Professor position associated with the Baugh Center for Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise. The position is for full-time research and does not require teaching. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of interest and publication in the areas of entrepreneurship, free enterprise, and public policy. The position is a one-year commitment that may be extended annually for up to a total of five years depending on performance.
The Research Professor will contribute to the internal and collaborative research priorities of the Baugh Center and is expected to publish in top journals in entrepreneurship, management, and related fields. The Research Professor will also contribute to the development of the Center activities by participating in conferences, workshops, grant proposals, policy papers, Center publications, and outreach efforts as needed. It is expected that the position holder will collaborate with faculty in the Hankamer School and elsewhere to advance knowledge, training, and education in economic freedom and its role in creating a prosperous, virtuous, and free society. More generally, the Research Professor will contribute to building a collegial and professional environment consistent with Baylor's Christian mission.

Candidates for this position must possess an appropriate doctorate in related fields of Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Management, Economics or Public Policy.
