    Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor
    School of Entrepreneurship and Management
    ShanghaiTech University

    The School of Entrepreneurship and Management (“SEM”) at ShanghaiTech
    aims to be the intellectual center for all things related to
    innovation and entrepreneurship in China and globally. To that end,
    SEM is seeking to create strength in a few select academic disciplines
    Psychology, Management, Marketing, Innovation and Entrepreneurship,
    Economics (including Finance), as well as in a number of
    interdisciplinary research groups including one focusing on various
    aspects of human behavior in social, political and economic contexts.

    We are particularly interested in making core appointments in the
    areas of psychology, decision theory, entrepreneurship, innovation,
    statistics, experimental economics, finance, and experimental
    philosophy. In addition, we have authorized a number of tenured/tenure
    track and non-tenure track positions, including visiting positions for
    suitable scholars who are committed to interdisciplinary research,
    collaboration and the study of human behavior from a number of
    different perspectives: including psychology, decision theory,
    cognitive science, economics, philosophy, sociology, and anthropology.
    Finally, in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, we are
    looking for accomplished entrepreneurs, investors, designers,
    musicians (preferably with PhDs), and other innovation practitioners
    to join our team as part-time or full-time faculty.

    For tenured/tenure track and research positions, junior candidates
    should have completed the PhD prior to the fall of 2017. Candidates
    for senior positions will be expected to display a record of
    appropriate achievement.

    Candidates should send their completed faculty application forms
    supported by an introductory letter, letters of recommendation, CV and
    writing sample to Dean May Lee at semrecruiting@shanghaitech.edu.cn.
    After an initial review of candidates, interviews will be arranged,
    either in person or by Skype, as circumstances permit. Compensation
    and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.

    The School of Entrepreneurship and Management at ShanghaiTech University now invites applications for Professor /Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

     

    The School of Entrepreneurship and Management at ShanghaiTech University is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at any level: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Candidates with backgrounds in all areas of economics, finance, management, marketing, strategy and entrepreneurship are invited to apply.

     

    Junior applicants should have (i) a PhD degree (when reporting duty); and (ii) high potential in teaching and research. Candidates for Associate and Full Professor posts are expected to have demonstrated academic leadership. Appointment with tenure can be offered to candidates with outstanding research and teaching record.

     

    Salary and benefits will be competitive, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments. Applications/Nominations will be considered until the posts are filled.
