2007 Entrepreneurship Division Doctoral Consortium
Announcement and Application Information
The Entrepreneurship Division will sponsor a consortium for doctoral
students during the 2007 annual meetings of the Academy of Management in
Philadelphia, PA. The Consortium brings together doctoral students and
experienced faculty to discuss opportunities and challenges as scholars
in the field. This year, the program includes panels and discussions on
the craft of scholarly writing, building an academic career in
entrepreneurship, publishing in leading scholarly journals, and theory
building in entrepreneurship. The Consortium will begin at noon on
Friday, August 10, 2007 and continue until 12:30 p.m., Sunday, August
12, 2007. The Friday and Saturday sessions will be held on the
University of Pennsylvania campus. There will be a dinner with senior
faculty on Friday evening.
The Consortium is open to doctoral students who have completed
approximately two years of their Ph.D. program. The ideal candidate
