  • 1.  AOM PDW on Competitive Advantage

    Colleagues interested in exploring the theoretical and empirical foundations of competitive advantage,

     

    Please consider attending the following PDW at the 2009 AOM Conference:

     

    Creating and Sustaining Competitive Advantage:

    Implications of the Environment?
    Program Session #: 348 | Submission: 11561 | Sponsor(s): (BPS, OMT, ENT, RM, SIM)
    Scheduled: Saturday, Aug 8 2009 5:30PM - 7:30PM at Hyatt Regency Chicago in Truffles

     

    This PDW will begin with a series of brief presentations by the following distinguished panelists concerning what they view as the most pressing research issues for the study of competitive advantage:

    ·         Tom Brush, Purdue University

    ·         Russell Coff, Emory University

    ·         Erwin Danneels, Worcester Polytechnic Institute

    ·         Glenn Hoetker, University of Illinois

    ·         Michael Leiblein, The Ohio State University

    ·         Jeffrey Martin, University of Texas at Austin

    ·         Steven Postrel, University of California, Los Angeles

    ·         Richard Reed, Washington State University

     

    Following the introductory presentations, each panelist will facilitate a "round-table" discussion focused on discussing current topics on the study of competitive advantage and to assist workshop participants in advancing their research agendas.  To that end, we ask that interested attendees please submit discussion questions for the panelists to the following web address by July 15, 2009:

    Pre-registration with AOM for this workshop is also strongly encouraged, as onsite walk-ins will only be permitted based on space availability.  The deadline to register online is July 10, 2009.  To register, please visit:
