I just organized my fourth competition, which was held last night, and I have been thinking about it.  I would like to improve the usefulness of these activities, so I hope for feedback from your experience.

I realize that competing in one of these events requires multiple skills and knowledge of multiple processes.  Has anyone ever done a more focused competition?  Perhaps a prototyping competition, a customer-development competition, or other processes?  Maybe an event testing cognitive or other abilities specific to entrepreneurship?
