Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to let you know about the intensive PhD Writing Workshop which is being held at the 7th Leuphana Entrepreneurship Conference 2017, 19th-21st January 2017, in Lueneburg, Germany. Per Davidsson (Queensland University of Technology), Marco van Gelderen (VU University Amsterdam), Andreas Rauch (University of Groningen) and Michael Gielnik (Leuphana University) will facilitate the workshop as senior researchers. PhD students will discuss their current research paper with peers and senior researchers in small groups. Aim is to improve the quality of the papers and advance writing skills.
Date of the workshop: 20th January 2017, 2.30pm - 6.00pm.
The workshop is limited to 20 PhD students. If you want to participate in the workshop, please submit the following until 18th November 2016 to lceconference@leuphana.de:
- Brief Abstract (less than 200 words)
- Key words (less than 6 words)
- Study (less than 1,500 words) – description of the topic, theoretical background, research question(s) and methods
- Main Challenges (less than 500 words) – description of the questions and issues you have regarding your study as well as the areas on which you would like to receive feedback
- References
You will be informed about the acceptance or rejection of your submission by end of November. If you have been accepted for the workshop, you need to review four submissions from peers and pay the fees until 16th December. Fees for the writing workshop are 140€ and include conference fees for LCE2017, conference material, 2 lunches, 2 days' morning and afternoon refreshments and a gala dinner.
