    Hello Colleagues:

As you may be aware, the Academy of Management now uses a centralized review
system. Since this is new starting last year, we are all learning. One of
the unique features is REVIEWERS ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN UP EVERY YEAR. As of
December 18, 2006, 396 reviewers have signed up. As the Division
Leadership, we really appreciate your willingness to assist.

For the 2007 Conference in Philadelphia, we expect to receive 300 – 400
papers, which suggest that we will need between 600 and 800 reviewers to
distribute the reviewer workload fairly. As you may have noticed, the
quality of the ENT Division reviews has been improving over time, making
this level of feedback an increasingly valuable service for researchers and
the Division as a whole. As I have noted in prior emails, the sign-up
process is easy and fast. (If you sign up early, you may have more time to
review papers; as reviewers will be assigned on a rolling basis.)

To sign up as an ENT Division reviewer, please visit the Academy of
Management reviewer sign-up Web Site: http://review.aomonline.org/

Reviewers will be asked to review about three submissions between January
16th and February 12th. If you volunteer for this most important
responsibility, you will be assigned papers based on the five topic codes
you provide, indicating your areas of expertise. Please note that we have
added several new topic codes (e.g. more family business, individual
    entrepreneur, and institutional entrepreneurship codes).

Now, just a note to emphasize the Call for Submissions: For those who have
previously supported the ENT Division with your submissions and reviews,
please continue sending us your best recent papers and symposium proposals.
I also encourage those who have not submitted to the Academy or to the ENT
Division in the past to please do so. We greatly honor the diverse interests
of the ENT Division membership; and we welcome the opportunity to consider
your work for inclusion in the 2007 Program.

You will be at an advantage if you submit your paper or symposium proposal
early. I will be assigning reviewers to papers and symposia by order of
finalized submission. as noted, reviewers are assigned to papers by
keywords. The earlier you submit your paper the more likely you will get
reviewers who match on all three (or at least two) of your selected
    keywords.

Detailed Submission Guidelines for a Paper and/ or Symposium can be found
    at:

    id=1&Itemid=3

    Deadline for Receiving Submissions:
Monday, January 15, 2007 at 5:00PM, United States, EST (New York Time).

Again, we greatly appreciate your assistance in signing-up to be a reviewer
    for the ENT Division.

Happy Holidays and thanks to all.
    Ron Mitchell
    2007 Program Chair
