I am writing to let you know about the Journal of Management Studies (JMS) Professional Development Workshop which is being held at the Sustainability, Ethics and Entrepreneurship (SEE) Research Conference, 26-28th February 2017, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Several mentors are confirmed to assist with the PDW, including Sylvia Dorado (University of Rhode Island), Bill Forster (Lehigh University), Matthew Grimes (Indiana University), Tim Hargrave (Central Washington University), Desiree Pacheco (Portland State University), Jill Purdy (University of Washington Tacoma) Theodore Waldron (Baylor University), and Tyler Wry (Wharton, University of Pennsylvania).
We will also feature keynote talks by JMS editors Dries Faems (General Editor) and Li-Qun Wei (Associate Editor) as well as Saras Sarasvathy (University of Virginia) and Wes Sine (Cornell University).
This is a great opportunity for PhD students and junior scholars who would benefit from feedback on their work and guidance on career paths.
We would welcome applications from any Assistant Professors and PhD students who may be interested in the PDW. Pending approval, a stipend to PDW participants will aim to offset the registration fee for the PDW and/or registration fee for the academic conference.
We have extended the deadline for submissions to the PDW until 17th November 2016. To apply please send a recent CV and a working paper you would like to receive feedback on to Jeff York, PDW Director:
Jeffery.York@colorado.edu and Jess Jones, PDW Organizer
Jess.Jones@colorado.edu.
Full details of the conference and the PDW can be found on the website

Thank you and hope to see you in Puerto Rico this winter.!
Best,
Jeff York
