    Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are happy to invite you to register and submit your abstracts for the first international conference on 20-21 of February 2017 focussed on "Integrating Simplification" as a dynamic approach for organizing and entrepreneurial thinking.

This conference is  organized in a unique collaboration with Banasthali University, the world's largest women residential University and Buurtzorg Nederland, the evidence based successful practice of self-managed organization through integrating simplification. Banasthali aims at the synthesis of spiritual values and scientific achievements of both the East and the West. Buurtzorg aims to deliver client centered care by organizing its processes without managers following the mantra of humanity above bureaucracy.

Integrating Simplification Theory (IST) talks about a process of engaging in simplicity and refraining from complexity to avoid organization disintegration. Disintegration can be of any kind of wastage of resources or time (Artha), misalignment between personal and organizational motives (Kama) and values (Dharma). Here, it is an approach to enhance entrepreneurial creativity and Self-Management as part of the Integrative Self-Managed Paradigm. The uniqueness in this paradigm lies in its treatment of various fundamental dichotomies like matter and spirit, material and spiritual, for-social and for-profit, automation or not-automation of processes, cooperation and competition, peace and war at work, mindful or mindless activities.

The topics at the conference represent three pillars as inputs for organizations: Self-Responsibility (Swadharma), Self-Reliance (Swavalamban) and Self-Freedom (Swaraaj); infused by the ability to develop Integrative Competences (Shakti) resulting in the following organizational outcomes:  Sustainable Happiness for employees and customers (Sukh) and Beneficial Profit for all stakeholders (Shubh Laabh).

With this conference we hope to bring in insights and approaches from both West and East to enrich ways of organizing and entrepreneurial thinking.

We are looking forward to meet you and have conversations in the beautiful atmosphere of Rajasthan at Banasthali.

    Warm regards/ Namaste

The organizing team (Sharda Nandram, Harsh Purohit, Puneet Bindlish, Ankur Joshi, Wim Keizer)
