Postdoctoral Position at Nanyang Business School (Entrepreneurship/ Innovation / Business)
The Nanyang Business School is seeking an outstanding postdoctoral candidate to join a high profile research program investigating innovation and entrepreneurship in Startups and Small Medium Enterprises in Singapore. The position is available from Jan 2017. The researcher will be involved in driving a research study funded by the Singapore National Research Foundation that uses a multi-method approach to collect data from a large sample from SMEs and Startups in Singapore – including interviews, computerized testing, and surveys. The study aims to examine how SMEs and Startups innovate under resource constraints, and brings together a multi-disciplinary research team interfacing across Business, Psychology and Entrepreneurship.
The position fully focuses on research with no expectation of teaching. The objective of this position is to enhance the researcher's skills and record for a placement in a leading university or research laboratory at the end of the postdoctoral fellowship. Requirements: You should have a Ph.D. in Psychology, Sociology or Business disciplines and some experience or interest in one or more of the following methods: 1) conducting interviews, 2) measuring psychological well-being and cognition using surveys or other standardized questionnaires, and 3) data analysis. The project and funding is for 1 year.
