We would like to invite applications to attend the research workshop on randomized field experiments to promote entrepreneurship and youth employment on 14
th of November at the INSEAD Middle East Campus in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This workshop is organized in collaboration of ILO's Taqeem Initiative and INSEAD's Randomized Controlled Trials Lab (
http://centres.insead.edu/rctlab) as part of the "ILO and INSEAD Evidence Symposium: Promoting Entrepreneurship for Inclusive Growth and Decent Jobs" (
http://tinyurl.com/ilo-insead-event). Confirmed speakers are Markus Goldstein (World Bank), Bruno Crépon (ENSAE, École Polytechnique, CREST, JPAL), Drew Gardiner (ILO), Jochen Kluve (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, RWI), Michael Grimm (Universität Passau, Erasmus University Rotterdam, DIW Berlin, IZA) and Lucia Del Carpio (INSEAD).
PhD Students and Young Scholars Poster Session: We would also like to invite applications from PhD students and young scholars to present and discuss their work during a poster session at the research workshop. The research needs to be an empirical project that uses a randomized field experiment related to entrepreneurship or youth employment in the MENA region. To submit a proposal to the poster session, please send the paper title and a one-page description of the project until 20
th of October to
rctlab@insead.edu. If a proposal is accepted for the poster session, the poster that will be presented at the poster session needs to be submitted electronically by 7
th of November 2016. We will award research funding of USD 1,000 to the best project poster (conditional on receiving sufficient applications).
