Sustainability, Ethics and Entrepreneurship (SEE) Conference: Call for Papers, Symposia, & Applications for the JMS' Professional Development Workshop
Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico
Dates: February 27- March 2, 2017 (PDW: Feb. 27-28; Conference: Feb. 28 – March 2)
Submission Deadline: October 20, 2016
We invite submissions of theory papers, empirical research (including ethnographic and qualitative research) and methods, applications or teaching symposia that advance knowledge from diverse disciplines, including: social, environmental & sustainable entrepreneurship, business ethics, firm-community ties, corporates impact on society and policy, and resource management. We are particularly interested in radical, controversial, and edgy projects; novel, useful, and non-obvious research that challenges dogmas and is highly revelatory, even if not fully grounded in well-studied or well-validated theory.
Assistant Professors and Ph.D. students are invited to apply for the Journal of Management Studies' PDW, which will feature a favorable ratio of senior scholars to participants. JMS' editors will facilitate the PDW with paper development sessions, and other workshops. Funding: Pending approval, a stipend to PDW participants will cover the registration fee for the PDW and the academic conference.
