The Entrepreneurship Division is pleased to invite you to participate in the next "Speak with a Scholar" webinar event as part of a web-based series of discussions regarding research, practice, and pedagogy in the field of entrepreneurship on September 13th (12:00 PM CDT). This event features a discussion with leading entrepreneurship scholars Norris Krueger and John Mueller (See condensed Bio's below) regarding pedagogy and practice in entrepreneurship education. Bio's:
Dr. Norris Krueger is the founder of Entrepreneurship Northwest located in Boise, ID.
He has a great deal of experience at entrepreneurship-led economic development. He is an expert in how to nurture entrepreneurial thinking, especially expert entrepreneurial thinking, his work has ranged from public policy analysis to cutting-edge research to designing entrepreneurial education and training programs that have won multiple national best practice awards. He also has a wide range of consulting and high tech entrepreneurial experience. He is a Representative-at-Large for the AOM Entrepreneurship Division and received his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University. Dr. Krueger has published in multiple scholarly outlets including Journal of Business Venturing and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. More at https://www.linkedin.com/in/norriskrueger.
Dr. John Mueller is an assistant professor at California State University, Fresno where he teaches entrepreneurship. His research interests include entrepreneurial finance, the financial and accounting activities of young and small firms, technology entrepreneurship, and sports entrepreneurship. Professor Mueller's research has been published in a variety of academic journals and mainstream publications, and presented at various conferences. He is a contributor to the activities of various organizations, including AOM and USASBE (AOM: chair of the Practitioner-Scholar committee, USASBE: co-chair of the Venture Financing committee). Along with his academic experience, he has started several businesses in the software, golf, fitness, and food industries. He has also worked at the executive and operational levels in publicly-traded and established companies in the accounting, finance, sports, and computer-software industries.
