The first is for the panel to give a review of the development of international entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship in terms of both research and teaching. The second is to present an ongoing research project on born-global social enterprises as an example of integrating international entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. The third is to engage the participants to share and explore innovative approaches for research and teaching in international/social entrepreneurship.

The PDW agenda is as follows:

    1.       Social enterprise, social entrepreneurship and the international context: Introduction and an exploratory framework (Lei Li) (15 min)

    2.       International entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship: Review and Reflection (Gary Knight) (15 min)

    3.       Entrepreneurship: Social and gender issues in the international context (Susan Marlow) (15 min)
