Open Rank Position in Entrepreneurship
Management & Information Systems Department
The Department of Management and Information Systems at the Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business is seeking to fill a tenure track position in Entrepreneurship to begin Fall of 2017 at the assistant, associate or professor level. Candidates will be expected to conduct research suitable for publication in top tier journals, teach courses in areas of entrepreneurship at the undergraduate and graduate level, participate in department and school governance activities, develop relationships with the business community, and perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship or a related discipline, and a record of publication (Associate and Professor level) or evidence of potential to publish (Assistant level) in leading academic journals, refereed conference proceedings, or other academic publications. Also desired is a record of excellence in teaching entrepreneurship and strategic management courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Strong preference for a candidate with industry-based entrepreneurial experience. Salary and benefits packages are competitive.
