    -apologies for cross posting-

    Dear colleagues,

You are cordially invited to the Caucus Session "Creating Meaningful Work Climates and HR Practices" that will take place on Tuesday, Aug 9 2016 at 8:00AM - 9:30AM at Anaheim Convention Center in 304D.

This caucus will discuss a research program designed to better understand the nature and impact of HR Climates within organizations and across different societal cultures. The caucus will provide a forum for scholars with shared interests to discuss the meaning of 'HR Climate' and its relevance to the theme of "Making Organizations Meaningful".

The format of the caucus will include a brief introduction to the HR Climate research program, followed by some thought provoking questions, and a discussion of potential project ideas. We believe that the outcome of discussions will lead to an improved understanding of the notion of HR Climate within organizations and across cultures.
We further aim to generate meaningful research questions and collaborations for further research and provide guidelines for scholars, HR managers, organizational leaders, and management educators to create and maintain healthier and more productive HR climates.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Organizer: Ali Dastmalchian, Simon Fraser U.
Organizer: Claudia Steinke, U. of Lethbridge
    Discussant: Secil Bayraktar, Ozyegin U.
