Hi everyone, I would like to create a program in my International Business class that will allow students the opportunity to study the business environment of a foreign territory during the semester with the idea of taking a 7-10 day "mission" to that area at the end of the semester.  If anyone has any experience with such programs and is willing to share his/her template with me, or is willing to contact me directly, I would really appreciate it.  Thanks so much for your consideration.

We just saw some great programs at the Hogeschool Rotterdam (U of Applied Sciences) that involve students going abroad to do business. For example, start by importing something successfully (and includes learning new languages) whether from Europe or Asia.

I wanted to TAKE this program :)

I will cc Peter Anker (if I can his addy), Rogier Cazemier & Guy Bauwens plus the leaders of the OECD study team who visited last month (Andrea Hofer & Gabi Kaffka - Gabi can you forward to Peter Anker?)

    Hi Dannie and everyone,

The Silicon Valley Immersion Program here at the University of San Francisco School of Management could be a great option for your international business mission. It's a 3-10 day immersive learning program on innovation and entrepreneurship for groups of 15-40 graduate and executive students, entrepreneurs, and other leaders. We design it specifically for each group on your preferred dates.

Here's a sample schedule. It includes lectures, workshops, hands-on group projects, investor pitch coaching, and company visits to large tech firms and startups.

    Sincerely,
    Jenny
