    Clinical (Non-Tenure Track) Faculty Position in Management

     

    The Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a full-time Clinical (non-tenure track) Faculty position in the Department of Management. This is a nine-month faculty appointment starting Fall 2017 (possible start date of Spring 2017), renewable on a 3-year basis.

     

    Qualifications: The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate (Ph.D. or D.B.A.), or have been admitted to candidacy for the Ph.D. or D.B.A., in management or a related field. Previous teaching experience in a business school is preferred. Ideal candidates will have a successful record of prior professional business (preferably entrepreneurial) experience and leadership responsibilities.

     

    Job Overview: This position is focused on teaching. The expected teaching load is four courses per semester. Primary teaching responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of entrepreneurship and strategy. The ability to teach courses in other areas of Management, such as International Management, is considered relevant and desirable.
