    Wanted: Post-Doctoral Researcher at SMU, Singapore

    The Lee Kong Chain School of Business and the Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship within Singapore Management University are looking for a post-doctoral researcher with an interest in areas such as technology transfer, inclusive innovation, SME policy effectiveness, entrepreneurship education, and high-growth ventures.

     

    Interested individuals who have finished their PhD recently or are finishing soon from all over the world are encouraged to apply. Ideally you would possess a PhD in a relevant area (business, management, innovation, entrepreneurship) but individuals with a background in sociology and/or organizational psychology are also encouraged to apply.

     

    Singapore Management University is a young, vibrant, and fast-growing research-oriented university that is rapidly climbing global rankings for research, undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education. You will be joining a group of well-published academics such as Heli Wang, Reddi Kotha, Adam Tatarynowicz, Gokhan Ertug, and others and work under the guidance of Professor Gerry George, Dean of the Business School.  Singapore has a vibrant entrepreneurial community and provides an exceptional testbed for entrepreneurship scholars.

     

    Besides continuing and further developing your own research, you will be asked to contribute to a book on Inclusive Innovation. You will supervise projects and data collection using surveys of Singapore SMEs, as well as organize and conduct lab experiments on student populations and entrepreneurs. The role will involve the development of case studies or white papers for policy discussions in the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem.
