    Description
    The Department of Management in the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites applications for a tenured appointment beginning August 2017. The successful candidate will hold the Clifton Chair in Leadership. Salary, benefits, and research support are very competitive and consistent with other Big-Ten universities.

     

    Qualifications
    Candidates are required to hold a Ph.D. degree in a Management discipline or related field, have an established record of publication in top tier journals and a research record commensurate with a senior Associate or Full Professor. Scholarly performance on the topic of leadership involving areas such as organizational behavior, strategic management, human resources or organizational theory will be considered.

     

    Service on doctoral dissertation committees is desirable. We are particularly interested in individuals who are strong organizational citizens and interested in being active members of a rich academic community.

    The college is in a period of tremendous growth. Enrollments have risen dramatically in the last five years, 50 new faculty have been hired, and new resources have enabled continued faculty hiring. A new 240,000 square foot state-of-the-art CBA building will be opening in the fall of 2017.
