The Coller Institute of Venture at Tel Aviv University $10,000 Venture Research Award - 2016Submission Deadline: July 31, 2016The Coller Institute of Venture at Tel Aviv University (http://www.collerinstituteofventure.org) is a research center committed to advancing the global venture ecosystem. Through sharing and developing knowledge, research and models, we act as a global hub forging a stronger connection between academic research and the business world.The annual research awards of the Coller Institute of Venture encourage and celebrate academic research in the field of venture, with the goal of making a significant contribution to understanding and shaping the venture ecosystem.PAST AWARD WINNERS:- In 2014, Mr. Dan Marom and Prof. Orly Sade (Hebrew University, Jerusalem) won a $10,000 first prize for their work titled "Are the Life and Death of an Early Stage Venture Indeed in the Power of the Tongue? Lessons from Online Crowdfunding Pitches". (http://www.collerinstituteofventure.org/awards/2014-awards-winner)- In 2015, we awarded Professors Mark Humphery-Jenner, Jo-Ann Suchard (University of New South Wales, Australia), and Jerry Cao (Singapore Management University) with a $5,000 prize for their paper "Government Ownership and Venture Performance in China".
