The Academy of Management Perspectives (AMP) is ranked among the top influential and frequently cited management and business journals.  AMP fulfills a unique role for management scholarship not provided by other journals, reaching out across discipline boundaries both within and outside business schools. AMP publishes articles and symposia that address important issues concerning management and business and is more central to the interests of a broader range of scholars in business schools than other scholarly journals.

With over one million hits in 2015, AMP's content is well cited in publications with a focus on entrepreneurship, strategy, management, international business, finance, etc. Thomson Reuters consistently ranks AMP within the top journals in both their Management and Business categories.  Recent rankings include:

    Impact Factor:  3.354

    5-Year Impact Factor: 5.427

#12 of 115 journals in the category of Business
#19 of 185 journals in the category of Management

The Academy of Management Perspectives has enjoyed being one of the 45 journals used by Financial Times to assess the quality of faculty research at business schools. FT is updating their list for 2017, and as such we want to make sure that AMP's success is broadcast as widely as possible. As a scholar, dean, author, or reviewer, now is the time to make sure the top content published in AMP maintains the recognition it has earned.

    How can you help AMP?

Please take a moment to make sure AMP remains on the FT45 list by sending a recommendation to the FT45 contact.  Submit your vote by Friday 17 June.
