    Dear colleague,

    It is with great pleasure that we announce the Call for Papers for the 3rd Annual World Open Innovation Conference, to be held on December 15-16, 2016 at ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. The conference will be preceded by a PhD seminar, December 13-14. 2016. 

    We welcome a wide variety of topics that relate to the topic of open innovation, and also specifically call for papers on the topic "Open Innovation in the Digital Age". The best papers of the conference on this topic will be considered for a dedicated Special Issue of the R&D Management journal. Moreover, the conference will feature a Best Student Paper Award and a Best Emerging Scholar Paper Award, each with a $1,000 cash reward.

The complete conference website, including registration and conference details, will be available May 2016. 

    Key dates: 
    - July 1, 2016: Submission website opens
    - August 15, 2016: Submission deadline for extended abstracts
    - September 15, 2016: Notification of accepted papers
    - December 1, 2016: Submission of full papers
