Dr. Cristina Cruz is a Professor of Entrepreneurial Management and Family Business at IE Business School, Spain. The results of her research, which focuses mainly on entrepreneurial management and family business, have been published in leading international academic journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Business Venturing and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. Professor Cruz prides brings the results of her research to the classroom, where she tries to establish the idea that there is a need to preserve and transmit the entrepreneurial spirit to future generations. As a result, her teaching efforts have received international recognition and are well regarded by her students. In 2013, the prestigious business school social web site "Poets & Quants" included her in the "40 Best Business School Professors under the age of 40" list.
Dr. Kimberly Eddleston is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Daniel and Dorothy Grady Faculty Fellow at Northeastern University. She is widely published in the field of entrepreneurship and has won multiple awards for her research on family businesses as well as women entrepreneurs and managers. Professor Eddleston has taught multiple entrepreneurship courses including Family Business Management and Small Business Management. She has also developed a small business consulting project curriculum that has been featured at several entrepreneurship conferences and in Inc. Magazine. Professor Eddleston is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Venturing. She is on the editorial boards of Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Group & Organization Management, Organization Management Review, Journal of Family Business Strategy, Family Business Review and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. She has also served as a guest editor of Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Family Business Strategy, and Small Business Economics. She also currently serves as the Division Chair of the Academy of Management's Careers Division and as a Member of the Entrepreneurship Division's Event Logistics and Planning Committee.
