Management Faculty Position Announcement
The Department of Management at Iowa State University is seeking
applications to fill one tenure-track faculty position in management at the
junior level. The position is available August, 2007.
The position is open to persons holding a doctorate in management or those
currently completing their doctoral degree, but completion of the doctoral
degree is expected prior to appointment. The primary area of research and
teaching must be in the area of technology management. Secondary areas are
open but preference will be given to those with expertise in
entrepreneurship, innovation, international and/or strategy.
All applicants must have a strong commitment to conducting high quality
research that is publishable in top-tier journals and to provide high
quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Salary is
competitive.
Iowa State University is a land-grant university with an enrollment of
approximately 26,000 students. The College of Business is AACSB accredited
at the Bachelors and MBA levels and is currently seeking institutional
approval for a Ph.D. program in Business and Technology. The successful
candidate will be expected to participate in all aspects of our educational
mission.
Ames, Iowa is a community with a population of 50,000 and located 30 miles
from Des Moines, the state's capital and largest city.
