    An Ontario Research Chair focused on the study of Public Policy and
    Enterprise Competitiveness has been created in the Schulich School of
    Business at York University. The holder of this chair will bring to
    Ontario his or her expertise in examining regionally sensitive public
    policy related to fostering enterprise competitiveness. Interested

    Ideally, an appointment will be made at the rank of Associate or Full
    Professor, effective January 1, 2007.

    Preferred candidates will have:
    · an ongoing, productive research program that is relevant to public
    policy development;
    · expertise related to the challenges of developing globally
    competitive enterprises, ideally including small and medium sized
    enterprises;
    · interest in engaging with other scholars, public policy makers and/or
    business leaders to develop a program of research that will compare
    policy across jurisdictions, including different economic and cultural
    regimes, in order to identify policies that foster more globally
    competitive Ontario enterprises.

    Salary and benefits for this position are competitive. The deadline for
