The Department of Strategy, Organization and Leadership at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">EBS</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Business</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype></st1:place> is
seeking to appoint a new faculty member for a senior professorship in the following area:
International Strategy
The position should be filled by an experienced candidate at an associate or senior professor
level.
Requirements
For the position, a doctoral degree with a specialization in strategy from a leading university
or business school is required and we are seeking exceptional scholars with a demonstrated
track record of published research and teaching in the area of strategy. The position is open
to candidates from diverse disciplinary backgrounds. International experience is a must for
the position.
The new faculty member is expected to contribute strongly to the department's programme in
research and teaching. There are also opportunities for executive education. The new faculty
member is expected to join as soon as possible.
About the Department
The Department of Strategy, Organization and Leadership at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">EBS</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Business</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype></st1:place> offers a
vibrant and collaborative research environment. Core and adjunct members of the
department come from internationally renowned schools (e.g., London School of Economics,
Indian Institute of Management), have published in top journals in the management field
(<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Management</st1:placename></st1:place> Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of
Management, Journal of Organizational Behaviour, Strategic Management Journal, etc.) and
are active in the international academic community through their membership in the editorial
boards of leading journals and leadership roles in the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Management</st1:placename></st1:place> and other
organizations. The department plans to expand substantially in size in the coming years and
