  • 1.  50 more reviewers needed: please help

    Dear ENT members and friends,

now as we are a week after the deadline of submissions, we would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who already volunteered to support the Division by reviewing over the next weeks. But, we still do not have enough reviewers to run a timely and high quality review process that we are all expecting.

We NEED ANOTHER 50 REVIEWERS to provide the desired feedback for all of our submitters!

This task can only be mastered if we all team up and also return the favor to provide feedback if we submitted a paper or symposium for the ENT Division. Thus, PLEASE SIGN UP as a reviewer for the ENT division at http://review.aom.org/
    DO IT NOW!

    Kind regards,

Let me echo Christina's call -- every year I review for 2 Divisions [and do emergency reviews for ENT]. This is NOT like reviewing for a journal in terms of time. You can do a great job pretty quickly as quality differences are often readily apparent. Authors love detailed review... especially if positive, LOL... but this is about identifying the most interesting and potentially valuable papers for us to hear.  In short, you are helping pick the speakers at a conference - I find that to be more fun than arduous*

Please sign up - it's not a big time commitment and it really matters. I have personally seen how getting that one additional review can save a good paper... or save us from a weak one ;)

    Cheers!

    * p.s. and yes... I 'm possibly the Division's most procrastinating reviewer (but I get my AoM reviews done quickly)
