Hi everyone, greetings from a sunny São Paulo.

What robust assessment(s) would you recommend to be used at the planning phase of the entrepreneurial process?

By robust I mean a "validated/researched" protocol (eg. MBTI, Holland's Types, SDLRS, etc.).

So far I heard about Gallup's EP-10 and the E-mindset profile.

Our research team have been working on something at the intersection of ENT+Adult Learning - happy to share.

Happy Holidays to all of you!!

    Dear Thiago,

What aspect of the planning stage are you investigating? Do you mean the team composition aspect of team formation?

I foud the TMS, Team Management Systems work very good, but also proprietary, which means difficult to use.  The developers have published some papers.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers from Sunny Queensland!

Hi Roxanne, how is it going? (cc'ing the entire list)

I deliberately left room for interpretation. Our instrument looks at planning by assessing what we call 6 pillars and 4 dimensions, including self-cognition (how do you plan to plan?). As you can see, we took a broad perspective of the subject.

However, team formation is indeed part of the process, so I thank you for sharing that.

    All the best,

    Thiago

    Hello Thiago,

    May I recommend:

    ·         McGee, J. E., Peterson, M., Mueller, S. L., & Sequeira, J. M. (2009). Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy: Refining the Measure. Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, 33(4), 965-988.

This is an interesting model and measure of entrepreneurial self-efficacy, as it provides short scales for several phases of the entrepreneurship process.

    Best Regards, Erik
