The Global Scholar Development Committee Needs YOU!
We are building a killer team to grow this committee – some great things already underway like DiscoTECH and more to come.... Especially if we can add more energetic, ambitious committee members. What do you want to see happen to help grow scholars as educators, as community contributors, and as researchers?
Whether you're new to the Division or an old fart like me... you can go deep right away.
To be honest, I need your help. I'm succeeding Brett Gilbert who as chair laid a terrific foundation – and I'm frankly a little daunted. We've had some awesome committee members, many of whom are sadly leaving us. Want to be part of the next rockstar generation?
We are the coolest committee to join – if only because the GSDC is the cyborg mashup of the Scholar Development Committee and the International Committee. The Division decided they belonged together... after all, only a couple of Academy Divisions are more international than us! (At least 1 year, we had a higher % of non-US members than IM Division <wicked grin>)
Seriously. You MUST have ideas how we can help our members get better as scholars – as educators, as community builders, as researchers. This is your chance to make a difference.
Who's in??? [If you aren't an AoM member, you'll need to join ;) ]

p.s. if you haven't watched the first two ENT video chats with scholars... go do that now (but after you sign up for this committee.)
