    Dear colleagues,

Back in August I posted a question to the listserv regarding the most effective ways to persuade a curriculum committee, and a general faculty, of the need to require all students in a college of management to take an Introduction to Entrepreneurship course. Thanks to all for the great feedback and lively conversation!

Fast forward six months, and I am happy to say that the curriculum committee as well as faculty approved the inclusion of MIE 310 Introduction to Entrepreneurship as a required course for all B.S. in Business Administration students. Good news all around.

Now, I and my colleagues--as you may imagine--are circling back to the listserv to ask for feedback about best practices in offering this course--it will likely be a 300+ person class taught in an auditorium in both the fall and spring. We may offer a smaller honors section, but are now focused on the large class.

I would appreciate any feedback, resources, syllabi or other materials from folks regarding teaching a large (300+ students) class focused on an introduction to entrepreneurship (mostly first and second year students). We are considering flipped classroom techniques, having a break-out lab session, textbook/no textbook, multiple TAs with their own sections one day per week, and other options. All thoughts welcome.

    Best regards, Jeff
