Dear Colleagues,
Experiencing innovation and entrepreneurship firsthand in Silicon Valley and San Francisco can give students new perspectives on how a world-class entrepreneurial ecosystem functions, how to build innovative companies and how entrepreneurs, technologists and scientists collaborate to create tremendous value for society.
For the last seven years, over 1,500 graduate and executive students from around the US and the world have had this unique learning experience through the Silicon Valley Immersion Certificate Program at the University of San Francisco School of Management. Each program is scheduled specifically for a group of students on their preferred dates, for three to ten days, to best complement their studies back home.
Students learn from Silicon Valley innovation professionals, corporate executives and faculty experts through lectures, workshops, hands-on group projects, investor pitch coaching and company visits to large tech firms and startups. They come away with eye-opening new perspectives and sharpened skills that they can apply immediately to their work and life.
Sincerely,
Jenny Fogarty
