    ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS
    DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT & QUANTITATIVE METHODS

    The Department of Management and Quantitative Methods has two openings for tenure-track faculty members at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, preferably to begin August 16, 2008 (pending budget approval).  Doctorate in an appropriate field and prior university teaching experience required for consideration at the Associate Professor level.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate potential and commitment to do both quality teaching and research.  Senior ABDs may be considered if in late stages of the program (note that the dissertation proposal defense must occur prior to the campus visit). 
     
    ENTREPRENEURSHIP/SMALL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT:  Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in ESBM.  We offer courses in Introduction to Small Business Management, Entrepreneurship I and II, Franchising, Family Business, New Venture Creation, Entrepreneurship in the Arts, and other ESBM related seminars.  In addition, candidates able to teach Organizational Behavior or Strategy as a secondary area are preferred.
     
    ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR/HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:  Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in <st1:place w:st="on">OB</st1:place> and/or HRM.  In the OB/HR area we offer courses in undergraduate and graduate <st1:place w:st="on">OB</st1:place>, Leadership, Teams and Team Development, Organizational Change, Organizational Culture, Introduction to HRM, Labor and Employee Relations, Compensation, and Recruitment and Selection.  In addition, there are a variety of undergraduate and graduate elective options.
