The Best Dissertation Award Selection Committee for the Public and Nonprofit Division of the Academy of Management requests nominations for the Division's 2016 Best Dissertation Award.

This award recognizes important high quality academic contributions to the PNP field at the dissertation level. Thus, dissertations that make contributions to the understanding of management in the public and nonprofit arenas will be considered. The award is sponsored by Jossey-Bass publishers, and the winner receives $250 in books from Wiley: Jossey-Bass.

Only dissertations defended during the 2015 calendar year are eligible for consideration. Nominees must be current members of the Academy of Management, but need not have been members on the date of their defense.

Submissions consist of two items: (1) An electronic copy of the dissertation, preferably pdf, and (2) An electronic copy of a nomination letter from the dissertation committee chair or other committee member.  These materials must be submitted by February 1, 2016.

Send nominations to the Committee chair, Mark.Hager@asu.edu
